The summer was the coolest in the past 10 years. Several rain periods in January and February resulted in good soil moisture and coupled with cooler temperatures provided optimal conditions for berry development. A welcome change to the previous 2 years.
Overview
We partner with some of our neighbouring grape growers and winemakers to produce what we feel is the best example of Shiraz the Adelaide Hills has to offer. This Shiraz shows attention to detail throughout the whole winemaking process which enables flavours of red cherry, currants and dark plum to show through along with the brightness of cinnamon and spice
